Sherrill is the real deal. Sherril is not only an amazing horse person, but also good with people! I came to her with a young, temperamental arabian who was scared of everthing. He'd been in a big field/herd his whole life, so everything was new. We couldn't even safely walk him on a lead line. Now 6 months later, he is looking like a pro. I can do so much with him, it's incredible. She takes the slow way, but it's the fastest and most durable way. My horse is so happy and in great shape. I was planning to stay for 4 months, but I'm not leaving!

I had an incredible lesson today! It was that kind of lesson that you just can’t seem to wipe the goofy smile off your face for hours afterwards!! Those of us that take or have taken lessons before know they darn sure aren’t all like that! One thing I’ve discovered since starting lessons at Summer Wind Ranch about a year and a half ago is that I now have FAR MORE of those amazing lesson days than I’ve ever had in the past!! I always feel so good after a lesson, empowered even!💪🏻 I feel better able to manage and ride my pretty difficult to deal with horse, Ringo. I feel better equipped to independently handle his many quirks. A trainer’s message should be encouraging and empowering for those he/she is teaching. I truly feel like I get exactly that from Sherrill and her method of training/teaching. I can see my improvement and I can see Ringo’s too. It’s a fantastic feeling! 💕
